  Configuring a DHCP Server and Connecting to the Internet   What is DHCP? DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a protocol used to facilitate the automatic deployment of IP (Internet Protocol) addresses to other devices. This DHCP configuration does not have to be manually implemented on each computer in order to get a different IP address. This will certainly be troublesome and time-consuming. 1.3 UPGRADE DAN DOWNGRADE

 UPGRADE DAN DOWNGRADE 1. Cek versi mikrotikdengan menggunakan terminal "system package pr"   2. Untuk upgrade ke system> packages > check for update > download & install. 3. Untuk melohat sudah download bisa kita lihat disisi kanan bawah. 4. Jika sudah klik (x) 5.  Lalu cek versi di terminal ketik "system package pr". 6. Buka google chrome ketik mikrotik.com klik software > download archive > release 6.48 7. Download routeros-mipsbe-6.48.npk dan tunggu sampai selesai download. 8. Kembali ke winbox klik fles > upload. 9. Upload file yang tadi sudah di download routeros-mipsbe-6.48.npk > open 10. Tunggu upload hingga selesai. 11. Setelah upload selesai kita cek di terminal ketik file print Itu cara untuk upgrade, sekarang cara untuk downgrade 1. Klik system > packages > downgarde 2. Klik yes 3. Lalu cek di terminal ketik system package print.

1.5 MANAGEMENT USER

MANAGEMENT USER Full = user dengan group ini dapat melakukan semua konfigurasi pada router dan bisa dikatakan group ini disebut administrator. Write = user dengan group ini sama seperti group full perbedaanya untuk jenis group ini tidak dapat menambahkan user login baru dan melakukan reset configuration pada router. Read = user dengan bagian ini diberikan fasilitas hanya dapat melihat isi konfigurasi saja tanpa bisa melakukan apa apa. 1. System > user > groups 2. Klik + > name > ssh > read > apply > ok. 3. Klik users tekan + > name > group > allowed address > password > apply > ok.
